With Command-Tab Plus, you can see only the apps that are actually active in the app switch panel, causing the number of icons displayed on the screen to decrease significantly. When we use the shortcut ⌘H to hide an app, Command-Tab Plus shows the hidden apps more grayed out, so that we can differentiate between what is hidden and what is not. Another great advantage of using this application is that it only shows the applications that are on the table you are currently on. That is, if you have multiple tables running different applications, the native function shows you all the applications in all the tables; with Command-Tab Plus, only active apps appear in that table.
For those who really don't like the look of the native feature, or just want to vary a bit, you can customize the bar, change the background colors, add borders, etc. You can also choose to show or hide each app's name - a great option considering that the native feature shows the app's name only when it's selected. Another possible customization is the size of the bar - you can select five different options, ranging from much smaller than the original to much larger.

If you're not happy with Mac's default toggle hotkey (⌘ + tab), try Command-Tab Plus, an improved app switcher tool. With Command-Tab Plus, after calling the program to change the window, you can activate the window by pressing the corresponding number of the program in the window. Instead of the default shift hotkey, you can only press the tab key to shift.
