Do you have the desire to improve your eyelashes by adding length, volume, and fullness? Or perhaps you have found that your current lash extensions don't match well for you. If so, you may want to consider false eyelashes.
But if you're going to be a 'do-it-yourself' girl, you may want to check your eye shape first.
Determining the eye shape will assist you in finding out the most delicate make-up for your face. There are eight common eye shapes: Mono-lids, Round Eyes, Almond Eyes, Downturned Eyes, Upturned Eyes, Deep-set Eyes, Close-set Eyes, and Hooded Eyes. When determining your eye shape, use a mirror to examine the overall appearance of the eye and its profile. Ask yourself three questions:
If the crease of my eyelid is apparent when my eyes are open?
Can I see the entire iris, or is a portion of it hidden by the lid?
How much distance between my eyes in the middle, and if they tilt upwards at the sides?
If you answered NO to the very first question, then you have Monolids.
If your answer is YES to the first one, then we pass to the next step:
Downturned Shape: The outer corners of your eyes turn downwards. If you're still not sure, visualize a straight line across your vision. You can probably imagine what it indicates if your outer corners turn down beneath the bar.
Upturned Shape: Your eyes' outer corners flick upwards. Use the same method you used to look for downturned eyes. You've got it if your outer corners turn upwards above the line.
Deep-set Eyes: Your upper eyelid is short and tiny. The crease is noticeable. There is less white visible.
Close-set Eyes: Take a ruler to measure the space between your eyes. If the distance between the outer corner of your eye and the temple is more than the space between the inner corner and your nose, then you have close-set eyes.
Hooded Shape: You have a crease, but it's buried beneath a flap of skin, so it's not noticeable.
Knowing your eye shape is only the first step; now, you must choose your artificial lashes.
Monolids: They're most common in Asian eyes. Monolids can wear faux mink top-heavy styles, especially fluttery, multi-layered lashes.
Round Shape: Curly lashes should be used to elevate and emphasize the curve of your top lid in this look. Avoid using thick, voluminous lashes since they will make your eyes appear smaller and flatter.
Almond Shape: Most lash styles look lovely on this shape. Add volume to your lashes and adequately distribute them to highlight the contour of your eyes.
Downturned Shape: False eyelashes overly dense and heavy will emphasize the dip, so choose wispy and natural lashes for a more modern look.
Upturned Shape: Try a flared half lash in the outside corner for a cat eyes effect.
Deep-set Eyes: We prefer lashes that are dramatic, long, and wispy, giving the impression of bringing the eyes forward.
Close-set Eyes: Please focus on the outer corners to lengthen and raise the eyes outwards with this eye form.
Hooded Shape: To fully open the eye in the center, use a fluttery combination with long lashes immediately over the pupil.
What kind of wearing of your false eyelashes? There are, in general, three types of wearings for false eyelashes: Glue, Self-Adhesive, Magnet.
With glue, is the traditional way, white, black or transparent. So far, white glue is most used.
Duo Strip Lash Adhesive
The false eyelashes that fit your eye shape
Tweezer or Applicator
Measure the strip against your actual eyelid and clip any extra. But NOT while it's against your eye. If you want to avoid doing that, Kiss Falscara is going to help.
Please don't just slop it on and adhere it to your eyelid. You'll need to wait a few minutes for the glue to dry a little, around 30 seconds, which is long enough to leave it sticky but not wet.
The most challenging aspect is placing the strip near enough to the lash line to be right on top but not tangled in your lashes. Suppose you hold a mirror almost perpendicular to your face and stare down. In that case, your eyelid will lengthen, almost as if you're closing your eyes. Still, you'll be able to see exactly where to position the strip. You can apply lash strips with your fingers, but don't forget the tweezers; they will help you finish using them.
The lashes on, there's one more thing you need to do to make your strip lashes look less noticeable. You should draw a line using your eyeliner to extend the band from where it begins to the inner corner of your eye. If you want a winged effect, you can also flip out the end. Check the lashes' shape; an eyelash curler may help you to improve the impact.
New technology for lashes? Maybe, just like some Eyelashes Online Store calls it 'Nano Grip Technology," but in my opinion, it's self-adhesive tech. It's indeed the easiest way to apply eyelashes. Comparing to the Glue applying, skip the first and third steps:
Trim the eyelash strips.
Look into a mirror and apply.
Use eyeliner to finish.
Oops, Down!
Be careful of the strong wind!
Magnetic eyelashes, the most potent kind, have five magnets or ten magnets on each lashes' bond. Usually, it accompanies by magnetic eyeliner. The eyeliner contains the magnetic ingredient. You need to apply magnetic eyeliner like usual, take the false magnetic eyelashes on it, and remove it as quickly as used.
Trim the eyelash strips.
Look down into a mirror.
Use magnetic eyeliner.
Apply them, Finish!
So far, we have many magnet lashes suppliers, like Moxielash, Glamnetic, Havidalash, and others. Please notice that, for the magnetic eyelashes, choose the one's length is less than 23 mm because the magnetism is not so strong to hold more than this length lashes.
YES, it's the substantial wind fault.
