In the unlikely event that the weather is really good, why not take a stroll through one of London's many amazing parks? They are the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. You have the big ones like Hyde Park and Regents Park, where you will be regularly joined by dog walkers, joggers and people lounging on the grass. If you're looking for a little party on your visit to the park, head to London Fields in Hackney. During the summer, the park is full of barbeques, drinks and lively music. If your legs are getting a little restless, why not mix exercise with a little information on a walking tour? There are a lot of them happening all over London. If the sun is shining brightly, try a movie, music or icon tour. They will take you to movie sets, old shows and other iconic London locations. Or spice up your walk with some culture on a tour of Shakespeare's Globe Theater . Feeling hungry? Do not worry; London covers you. On the other side of town, there are numerous markets with some delicious street food options to please anyone. Perhaps the most famous is Borough Market , a winding maze of shops and food stalls. There, you'll find thousands of food and drink options to slay. In the south, Brixton Village offers a variety of food and shopping options for any savvy shopper. Or, if you're looking for something a little cooler and more modern, head to Boxpark in Shoreditch. With shops below and bars above, you'll find burgers, pizza, hot dogs and more to eat.
Go to Kew Gardens
And finally, if you want to combine culture, nature, and fuel in one fantastic day, head to Kew Gardens. See the oldest potted plant on the planet, a Jurassic cycad palm planted in the 18th century. Explore the different houses, all mimicking one of Earth's biomes, filled with native plants from around the world. Climb the Treetop Walkway for the best views of London. It doesn't get much better than this - definitely one of the best things to do alone in London.
