The granite forest lies in the northern mountains, which is thousands of meters above sea level and in the north of Huanggang Peak in Great Khingan. This area has been recognized as a new type of stone forest combining granite and stone forest landforms, and is currently unique in the world.

Yulong Sand Lake Scenic Area is within the border of Wudan Town, Ongniud Qi, Chifeng City. The scenic area comprises outdoor camps and hiking routes in different functional areas based on the sandy landscape. The vast and wavy sand dune is ideal for desert orienteering. As a result, Yulong Sand Lake is designed with three orienteering lanes for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Visitors can also drive into the desert in a professional desert truck. Jiangjun Lake is located near Chifeng City, spread across the steppe of the Hexigten Banner of Wulan County, Inner Mongolia. According to tradition, the Kangxi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty fought a great battle here with the Mongol leader Galdan Boshugtu Khan, bombarding Galdan's array of camel troops in order to scatter them. The intense shockwaves created by this event altered the local geographic makeup, causing the groundwater to rush forth and form this pocket of water. The surface of the lake is very wide, with reeds growing throughout the water, and at sunset the landscape takes on an exceptional, unusual beauty, attracting a large number of travelers to come and admire the view.

Meiling National Forest Park is dominated by original ecological virgin forest and sub-alpine wetland meadows. Within the valley there are steep mountain slopes, numerous rivers and verdant forests.
