Vueling History

Its history dates back to July 2004, when it began operating as an independent airline. It was not until 2009, after its merger with Clickair, that it became dependent on Iberia. Since 2013, Vueling has been owned by IAG. Although it was born as a conventional airline , it was considered a cheap flight company after the bankruptcy of Spanair , its main competitor, in 2012.

Although its center of operations is the Barcelona- El Prat International Airport (IATA code: BCN), it also has secondary headquarters in other Spanish cities, including: Oviedo, Alicante, Bilbao, Gran Canaria, Madrid , La Coruña, Ibiza, Mallorca , Seville , Valencia and Santiago de Compostela.

Comfort

The seats are small but most of the flights aren't more than a few hours. You can pay a little extra for a larger seat with the 'space one' and 'space plus' options. There is no inflight entertainment so be sure to bring a book or something to keep yourself entertained.

ECONOMY CLASS

Vueling meals are not included in the price of your ticket. Passengers have a wide range of choice including new items such as great meal deals, fresh sandwiches and other items.

The airline accepts euros and sterling pounds for onboard payments plus Visa, Mastercard and Amex, debit cards are not accepted. Only coins in euros are accepted and the airline will only accept notes up to €50 and £20. The maximum amount that can be charged to a credit card is €300.
